What if I focused on "what can I give?"
instead of
"what could I get?"
ABOUT
Hello! My name is Frederic Klowe - I've been designing and creating things since I could crawl.
Naeon is an ongoing passion project I've been working on on & off for the last 6 years. It was given to me by my brother before he went to work on other projects.
I'm a design enthusiast - from cars, furniture, watches, architecture - everything and anything related to form is a joy of mine. Clothing is one of the ways I can express that joy.
Some of my (current) favourites:
- Honda Civic HRV (1st Gen) 1999 - 2006
- Tool Watch Co. Lumecore Chronograph
- Any 90s floorstanding speakers
If you have any design favourites - feel free to share them with me (and the rest of us) at our archive IG @naeon.archive or our main account @naeon.clo!
This is Naeon - a clothing passion project that I've been running on and off for the last 6 years.
Naeon takes contemporary design cues to create clothes that maximise comfort, durability and joy.
Our goal is to be a trusted place for good clothes.
We're based in Melbourne, Australia!
We have in-person events from time to time - so sign up to our newsletter for invites!
I love designing and creating. Naeon is an outlet to share that passion.
In the past I was only focused about "what could I get" out of running Naeon.
Now I've realised that focusing on "what I can give" feels more honest with who I am.
It's much more rewarding seeing others benefit from the things I enjoy doing.
WHAT'S IN A NAME?
The name "Naeon" came to be as my brother thought it sounded cool. I've found that "Naeon" also was a shortened version of "New Aeon" - symbolising new beginnings. Which has been a core theme of my life.
The four leaved clover is used as it represents two of my lucky numbers - '1' and '4', and I've always felt very lucky to be living the life I do. The concept of "amor fati" springs to mind here.
